So, who are Hampshire Fare?
Hampshire Fare is a well established not-for-profit organisation dedicated to championing the very best of local food, drink, and craft across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. Founded in 1991 by a small group of farmers, its original aim was to raise awareness of regional produce and support local businesses. More than 35 years later, that mission remains at its core.
Today, Hampshire Fare has grown into a thriving network of around 400 members, ranging from artisan start-ups to heritage brands. The organisation promotes its members through marketing campaigns, events, collaborations and publications, helping connect consumers with high quality, locally made products.
At its heart, Hampshire Fare is about community and collaboration. It brings together producers, farmers, retailers, chefs, and hospitality businesses who share a commitment to quality and sustainability. By supporting these businesses with visibility, training, and networking opportunities, Hampshire Fare plays an important role in strengthening the local food economy and celebrating the region’s rich culinary landscape.
As they put it: “Hampshire Fare is more than a logo—it’s a mark of provenance, passion, and quality. Whether you're a buyer, chef, retailer, or fellow producer, we invite you to discover the stories, flavours and people that make Hampshire such a vibrant hub for food and craft.”
